Unofuku Co., Ltd. celebrated its 100th anniversary in June 2021.
As a 100-year-old company, seeking to promote and realize sustainability for society, Unofuku Co., Ltd. will continue to work towards the SDGs in order to promote and realize environmental consideration.
At Unofuku Co., Ltd., we are implementing environmentally friendly initiatives that can be broadly divided into the following three categories.

Unofuku Co., Ltd. is participating in Toyooka City's environmental and economic projects.
Toyooka City's environmental and economic projects have established a certification system to promote projects that pursue profits and improve the environment, with the aim of creating a city where the environment and economy resonate.
We manufacture and sell bags, bags, and wallets using environmentally friendly materials, and have received certification for promoting a living-friendly environment.
We have also been certified as a Hyogo Industry SDGs Promotion Declaration Project.
At Unofuku Co., Ltd., we have received certification to fulfill our ``Responsible Production and Consumption'' materials usage to ensure sustainable production and consumption patterns.
We actively use materials that have a low environmental impact as recognized by certified businesses.
For each seasonal project, we always launch one series of products using environmentally friendly materials, and we are working towards the goal of having a share of over 70% of the products we handle by 2030.
In addition, overseas, we are supporting developing countries, and since 2019 we have been promoting global partnerships by placing orders with our factory in Bangladesh.
In Bangladesh, in addition to promoting employment through custom orders, we support partner factories in their environmental efforts and equal employment.
On the other hand, child labor is prohibited not only in factories in China and Vietnam, but also in factories in Japan.
We have thoroughly communicated this to each factory.
[Work environment initiatives]
We have completed the installation of an 83.6kw solar power generation system at our Toyooka head office, contributing to clean energy.
Additionally, in terms of our human resources system, we not only eliminate the gender gap, but also employ multinationals and promote diversity.
In addition to equal pay for equal work, we also provide shared toilets in addition to men's and women's toilets, and proactive support from the company for long leave such as paternity leave.
In addition, we use SD cards issued by the Japan Traffic Safety Association to educate and educate our employees about safe driving, in order to ensure that no one is killed or injured in road traffic accidents.
Additionally, starting in 2022, all scrapped company cars will be responsibly handed over to recycling companies.
[Community initiatives]
We could not have reached our 100th anniversary without local industry.
In order to promote inclusive and sustainable urbanization of the region through the form of local industry, we will continue to participate in Toyooka City's environmental economic projects and take actions that contribute to the development of local industry.
Through our tax payments, we will revitalize the local economy, support sustainable and strong infrastructure development through local governments, and lead to better job creation, cultural promotion, and product sales.
